Have a backup tank/AA/CAS at the BR to supplement your tank. Ensure you have dart otherwise you’re having a bad time. The tank itself is very good. DM33 is plenty capable at the BR and the Gen 2 gunner thermals are a boon. Turret isn’t as strong as the 2A5 or 2A6 but you can still bounce stuff at longer combat ranges. War thunder is more realistic than any other comparable game because of the way that damage is moddled in game, with individual components and crew instead of a health bar. That being said, the actual combat in the game is unrealistic. Actual tank engagements took place at far longer ranges, even during World War 2.
